Toby joined Atlas Fine Wines with a remit to look after buying and selling to the international trade. Across his time in the industry, Toby has built up a strong list of contacts, as well as considerable market knowledge, which allows him to best serve the needs of Atlas’ clients and suppliers. Having first started out working for Fine & Rare Wines, looking after their burgeoning private client book, a subsequent move to Liv-ex offered him the opportunity to develop his trade contacts across the UK, mainland Europe and the US. Following several years at an award-winning UK wine merchant, where he ran the trade department, and oversaw broking for the company’s sizable private client reserves, and a stint as a senior trader for an active UK fine wine broker, he took the opportunity to join Atlas in May 2022, linking up with several of the team who had known and worked with him for over a decade.
