1. How do I settle a recent invoice? 

You can settle a recent invoice in the following three ways: 

Debit Card 
Please call any member of team with the invoice number you are looking to settle.

Direct Debit (cellarage and insurance charges only)

For clients wishing to settle their account balance or quarterly cellarage and insurance charges only by Direct Debit, this is facilitated via Go Cardless and takes just a few minutes to complete. Click here to set up a Direct Debit. We will contact you to confirm if the Direct Debit is for account balances or for Cellarage and Insurance Charges only.  Direct Debit payments will be processed quarterly, three business days following the invoicing of cellarage and insurance charges. GoCardless is regulated by the Financial Conduct Authority as an Authorised Payment Institution. You have the right to cancel your direct debit at any time.

 

2. Where are my wines stored? 

 

We store with London City Bond Eton Park, a state-of-the-art fine wine storage facility in Burton-On-Trent, which offers optimal conditions and security. Atlas has in-house logistics experts on site to ensure each case is handled with the utmost care and professionalism. 3. What are your storage charges and when do I receive those invoices? 
Cellarage accrues on a monthly basis and is re-charged quarterly in arrears. Quarterly charges reflect monthly changes on the number of units held. Clients are only charged for the months in which their stocks are stored with us. Atlas does not seek to make a profit on cellarage.

Direct Debit

4.  How do I view my account online? 

Upon making your first purchase or sale, you will receive access to your online account.This includes details of your reserves, all account financials, Unique Identifier codes for each stored case of wine, market values and a stock certificate. From here, you can request to take delivery, to broker your wine or to get photographs taken of individual cases.

 

5. How to I take delivery or arrange shipment abroad?
Deliveries can be arranged by logging into the account, or contacting any member of the team. Atlas does not seek to make a profit from delivery charges and will simply re-charge at prevailing cost, subject to volume and geographical location (starting from £20 ex VAT in London, up to 10 cases). 6. I am storing wines elsewhere, can I consolidate my reserves with Atlas?
We encourage our clients to consolidate their reserves into our care. Not only does this provide you with a thorough view of your holdings, but it provides you with the peace of mind that your wines will be stored properly and securely. Should you decide to consolidate, our logistics team will manage the transfer of reserves.

 

7. How do I broker wine through Atlas? 
You can broker your wines by requesting quotations in your online account or by contacting any member of the Atlas team. Read more about our broking service. Atlas has created an effective broking service to facilitate the sale of wines on behalf of clients. We want our clients to be confident that any sale of their wine is efficient and transparent. 8. What is your Consultancy Service?
In addition to our core activities, Atlas also provides a consultancy service to parties requiring advice and valuations on a collection which has been built up with other providers in the market. It is a service that benefits private individuals, family offices and corporate entities. Our Consultancy Service meets a wide range of client requirements. It is for those wishing to carry out independent due diligence on a current provider, those who have collected widely without clear objectives, or even those who have inherited a wine collection and need advice on how to take this forward. 9.  I am interested in attending a wine tasting or holding a corporate or private event, can Atlas assist? 
Contact us to discuss any upcoming events that you would like to attend or that you are looking to hold. Atlas holds events designed to highlight specific producers, regions and vintages. Whether we are hosting a producer-led dinner for 10, a corporate tasting for 20, or a large walk-around event for 200, we look to provide an inclusive opportunity for guests to compare and contrast different wines. At each of our events, we hope to impart our knowledge and insight as well as create an atmosphere in which guests will feel at ease, involved and engaged.
