We are pleased to announce that our Great Bordeaux Tasting will take place at 6.30pm on Thursday 10th March 2016 with no fewer than 20 prestigious Châteaux participating.

This time the event will be held at Vintner’s Hall on Upper Thames Street, London EC4V 3BG, a short distance from the heart of the city. This event follows on from our hugely successful Burgundy, Italy and Champagne tastings. If you don’t know the format, this is an informal, walk-around tasting where you can choose what to taste from over 50 wines as you make your way around the room. As ever, the representatives of the Châteaux will be on hand to discuss the wines.
The 2016 event will provide an opportunity to taste one of the greatest recent Bordeaux vintages from a wide variety of leading Châteaux, namely the 2010 vintage. Now with some time in bottle, it is a fascinating moment to revisit this impressive vintage. To help place this in context, you will have the chance to compare against two slightly earlier drinking vintages, as the 2011s and 2012s from each Châteaux will also be on show. It is always our preference to show finished wines from bottle rather than barrel samples and this will give a comprehensive overview of Bordeaux in these three vintages.

Following the tasting, which will conclude at 8.30 pm, we will serve cheese and biscuits as well as a glass of Champagne until 9.00pm. As this is an informal, walk-around tasting, we would advise clients to arrive between 6.30-7.30pm to ensure you get a maximum chance to taste many of the wines on show.
