After finishing a degree in chemistry at University College London, Gabriel headed to New Zealand on his gap year; a trip that provided the opportunity to explore various vineyards and served to spark his interest in wine. Upon his return to London, he studied for, and passed, both his Level 2 and 3 WSET exams. Gabriel is currently studying for his WSET Diploma.
Prior to joining Atlas, Gabriel worked for another London-based wine merchant, first as a marketing assistant, then latterly in logistics as Customer Reserves Manager, a role in which his analytical and pragmatic approach added real value. Gabriel is Atlas’ latest recruit having joined in January 2017 in the role of Stock and Data Manager. At Atlas, he is responsible for managing all aspects of client reserves.
